Our Economic Empowerment status means we are mandated by the Commission to hire from areas of disproportionate impact.
With our pre-certification we can now seek out host communities, municipal partners, and retailers seeking to deliver.
CITIES & TOWNS
We wish to educate municipalities about the unique nature and revenue potential of the delivery license.
Our delivery model utilizes technology to ensure scalability and rapid expansion across Massachusetts.
MASSACHUSETTS ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT PRIORITY APPLICANT & PRE-CERTIFIED DELIVERY BUSINESS
Justness started in Massachusetts after its Founder Michael Latulippe was certified as an Economic Empowerment priority applicant (EEA202380) by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission for having demonstrated experience in or business practices that promote economic empowerment in communities disproportionately impacted by prohibition.
He created the company with the intent to disrupt the current cannabis retail model and delivery market by developing a brand and corporate culture that was focused on the company’s social justice initiatives in communities of disproportionate impact, with staff, and with other social equity entrepreneurs. Utilizing the existing delivery regulatory framework, Justness has developed its own unique and scalable business model that will allow for rapid expansion of its delivery service across the state once operational. Justness is defined as the quality or state of being just, equitable, or right. Consumers who interact with our drivers, delivery vehicles, third-party technology provider, or purchase our products, will know by our own brand name that the majority of any delivery fee they are charged will go directly to fund our state mandated social equity efforts and helping our staff start their own social justice focused enterprises.
REPAIRING THE HARMS
We are committed to empowering individuals and communities disproportionately impacted and harmed most by cannabis prohibition through developing programs that educate our staff and other social equity entrepreneurs on using their skills to start their own businesses and build generational wealth for their family and communities.
